Memories — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Exceptionally poor and shady place. The food is alright-ish but the portions are very small and overpriced. Forget about getting full, plates are children sized. The worst thing is the staff. The waiter (who pretends he doesn't speak English very well) is slow, waiting for order is way too long and they will try to scam you and take 20% tip when you pay. When you go inside to pay with the card they will give you a receipt with ALREADY included tip of 20%, the waiter will then proceed to say something gibberish that kinda sounds like 10% - and then you will still pay 20% tip. So if your order is for example 200€, they will scam you out of additional 40€. Stay far away from this place, read the lowest rated reviews first before you think about coming here - they are true. Not happy😮 We waited for our food for half an hour, then a waitress came who couldn’t speak English or Greek. Disaster 🤦🏻‍♀️ she took our order, our entrees came, but no drinks, our third entree came and we had to ask for our drinks, our wine came but not our water!! We asked for bread only to be told in a Greek restaurant in Greece there is no bread left, as they were too busy 🙈🙉🙊. Not my problem! We were told there was pita bread and that he would bring some out and that did not arrive! The main meals came out within fifteen minutes of our entrees and them not picking up our entree plates, when I said we had not finished our entrees as yet, the waiter said that he was not the chef and that he only worked there! An absolutely wonderful experience!

We stumbled upon Restaurant Memories by chance, but it quickly became one of our favorite spots in Lefkada. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the town, with a cozy and welcoming terrace.

The menu is diverse and full of delicious traditional Greek dishes, all cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the moussaka and seafood – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Portions are generous, and the value for money is excellent.

What truly makes the difference is the staff: friendly, attentive, and always smiling. They made us feel like we were among friends, and that meant a lot.
