Taratsa Open — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

We came at the bar. The atmosphere is good but the person at the door put us in the worst table of the bar. We kindly asked to move in a different table that it was better and our waiter told us that of course we can move. We ordered our drinks and then the person from the entrance came and told us that the table was reserved and he could not guarantee that the reservation will come. So he told us to move into the table that we were seating on the first place(even though half of the bar was empty). We denied and we told him that we will cancel our order if we cannot remain at the table that we wanted and he said that he cannot do sth more. So at the end we canceled our order and the bartender was looking at us amazed because he couldn’t believe the situation that he was facing. As you can understand, they are really picky at their customer selection so if you are not young and good-looking I would suggest to find some different options for your drinking place. The person at the entrance was the most arrogant, rude and unprofessional person that I have ever met at a bar all over Europe so he destroys the image of the whole bar. Αρχικά ο άνθρωπος που δίνει την αίσθηση ότι είναι ο υπεύθυνος μεταξύ των σερβιτόρων (που είναι κι ο πρώτος που αντικρίζεις μπαίνοντας στο μαγαζί) έχει ύφος χιλίων καρδιναλίων που φαίνεται να έχει μεταφέρει και σε κάποιους από αυτούς. Από τη μεριά των σερβιτόρων, μπορεί να υπήρχε κάποια αργοπορία, σκονταφταν ο ένας πάνω στον άλλο και γενικότερα στην επίσκεψη μας φαίνονταν να είναι σε πλήρη σύγχυση. Επίσης κάτι ακόμα που άφησε αρνητική εντυπωση ήταν ότι οι σερβιτόροι κάπνιζαν είτε κανονικά τσιγάρα είτε iqos όσο δεν έπαιρναν κάποια παραγγελία. Το μαγαζί έχει δύο είδους τραπέζια, ψηλά και μικρά με σκαμπό και κοντά στρογγυλά με καρέκλες με πλάτη. Στη δική μας επίσκεψη τα κοντά με τις καρέκλες με πλάτη, που επιθυμούσαμε, ήταν γεμάτα, και καθίσαμε σε ένα από τα ψηλά. Βεβαίως, είχαμε ζητήσει να μετακινηθούμε σε κάποιο από τα χαμηλά, αν άδειαζε, και ο υπεύθυνος μας απάντησε ότι "θα εξαρτηθεί από το ποιο τραπέζι θα είναι και από το ποιος καθόταν εκεί προηγουμένως". Όταν επιτέλους άδειασε ρωτήσαμε ξανά και αυτή τη φορά μας αρνήθηκαν κατηγορηματικά επειδή " Δεν είναι πολιτική του καταστήματος να γίνονται αλλαγές στα τραπέζια". Τα τραπέζια σίγουρα δεν ήταν κρατημένα. Γενικά μια παράξενη αντιμετώπιση από μεριάς των υπαλλήλων. Ως προς τα cocktail, αυτά ήταν μέτρια εως κακά. Γενικά μια άσχημη εμπειρία που μας οδήγησε στο να φύγουμε γρήγορα, όπως και άλλους πελάτες που αποχώρησαν από εκνευρισμό πριν καν...

Our experience at the bar was disappointing. Despite requesting a table for two, the staff at the entrance informed us that everything was reserved, even at the bar. His arrogant and unprofessional attitude was lacking. Perhaps I just had the misfortune of encountering the wrong person that day. It's unfortunate that our evening was spoiled...
