the Homemade — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Our favourite place to eat in town. As a family of three we have eaten here several times during our stay. Each dish was carefully cooked which we did not find in similar places. For example : the pork steak had an amazing taste because it was marinated, the bread was heated on a grill, the squid was cooked the right way and the best part - this is the only place we have been to where you get a complimentary big plate with watermelon/melon!!! Definitely one of the best places in lefkas to eat if you like or want to try homemade Greek food (as close as it gets at least). Appetizers are great and made by them,not like premade sold with a title "homemade" in other taverns or like those you find in the supermarkets.Really good cooks that know their art and will leave you wanting to go back. We tried it on our first night in Lefkada and ended up liking it so much that we went there everyday during our holiday. They have a lovely garden in the back, where you can relax and get away from the bustle of the pedestrian street. The food was so good, everything we tried was delicious.
