Had the worse experience with the owners. I parked my car at their parking first, planning to eat there. But first, decided to walk more inwards Kastraki to take photos of Meteora being so close to this village...The owner stepped out and yelled at us for parking and walking away! I explained our plan in a friendly manner, addressing him as "my friend". I got a very rude response, that I had to first go inside and inform the management for my intentions...!! There was absolutely nothing polite about his attitude and i pointed it out, i felt offended and threatened...I have never experienced something this rude by a restaurant owner and i pointed it out to him, mentioning also that in the HORECA world, the customer is always right. He got extremely aggregated, started cursing to me, called us...names and so did an older person that came out as well, being even more rude! I have been travelling a lot in my life, and i have never felt more offended and unwelcome. I left the restaurant and ate elsewhere of course. I will never set my foot in that place. We visited this lovely restaurant in Meteora for the first time, and it was an experience to remember! Just as we sat down, a sudden rainstorm rolled in – heavy rain, thunder, the works – but the staff handled everything with such calm and kindness. They made sure everyone was comfortable and safe, and their hospitality really stood out.

As for the food – absolutely delicious! We tried the local Moussaka, souvlaki, and of course, a classic Greek salad. Everything was full of flavor and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The Moussaka especially was one of the best we’ve had! Not to misss on the way to go they offered fresh local picked fruits.

Despite the weather, the cozy atmosphere and incredible food made it a perfect stop. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Meteora. Highly...
