I don't like to write negative reviews as I know running a hotel is not easy. We were there in June and it was 36C degrees (97F) and our room was boiling hot, The receptionist told us that we can only make the room air con 10 degrees lower than the outside temperature - very odd . You cannot set the temperature in your room it has to be done at reception. So the room temp got set to 24 degrees after some pleading on my part and we went out for dinner. The room was hot when we got back and so we put the aircon on and went to bed. An hour later the aircon went off so i turned it on again - at this stage there was nobody at reception. The aircon went off after an hour right through the night and in the heat of June, I was up every hour of the night turning the aircon back on again. The next day i spoke to a different person at reception and he said I could have asked for the aircon to be left on constant. Well the woman from the day before didn't mention this. I strongly advise you request and then check that your aircon is on constant so you can turn it off when you like. Large bus tours use this hotel so do be aware of this. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, but the staff were nice and tried their best.

I had booked a room for one night in May 2025 through Booking.com. Terms of the prepaid room were flexible scheduling, which allowed for one date change. I requested a change in date due to a schedule change, asking that the stay be changed to three days after the original reservation (from a Friday night to a Monday night). The property replied three days later that there were no rooms available for the night requested at the same rate.
I wrote back asking for any room, even if I had to pay more. NO REPLY.
As the date approached, I saw the exact same room and price listed on booking.com. I wrote the property again, asking for the new date, pointing out that rooms are available on booking.com. NO REPLY.
I contacted customer service at Booking.com, asking for them to intervene and provide a refund due to the property breaking the terms of the reservation. Booking.com reached out to the property to determine if a refund could be provided. Booking.com received NO REPLY.

Read moreWhat a disappointment! We stayed two nights in a superior room with Meteora panorama view. The view was beautiful but that was pretty much the only thing that we liked. Bed was ok, with two pillows each. The room was very small with nowhere to place the luggage. Breakfast buffe was limited and the first morning we almost didn’t get any breakfast. Breakfast was suppose to be served from 07.00 to 10.00 but when we came to the buffet at 8.30 a lot of food was already finished and they didn’t refill. We were told that we were the only guests except for a bus load of pensioners traveling in a tour group. The group had already emptied most of the buffet and since it was only my husband and I left they didn’t make more. The group was also extremely loud. I wish we would have brought ear plugs to breakfast. We had a coffee machine at the room but the maids did a terrible job with refilling both cups and capsules.
