We (a family gathering of 10P) were expecting a good restaurant with beautiful views, nice atmosphere and with a few authentic Greek dishes but instead we found a place practically empty.. there were two more tables seated besides us, the majority of the tables were empty (on a Friday evening in July) and a menu with dozens and dozens of dishes… We have ordered many different dishes in order to taste the variety offered but nobody, including the kids did finish their plate. The grilled octopus was so hard, it wasn’t easy cutting it, not to mention eating it. The local sausages - same story, too hard to eat, so the kids left the entire plate uneaten and scary enough that was also the case of the grilled fish which my father left whole after only trying a few bites. My brother ordered the fried fish but it was uneatable. Long story short, the only explanation for us was that none of the food served was fresh but all frozen. Probably put directly from the freezer on the grill which could explain why so many dishes were so hard. Without a doubt the worst dinner experience we had during our 7 days in Plakias and the prices were similar to other restaurants in town. Very disappointing and unprofessional. My advice to the owners as the location offers wonderful views: cut down by 75% the menu as it’s impossible to offer dozens and dozens of dishes in a restaurant that has no constant rotation. Offer a few fresh and authentic local dishes and make these the best way you...
Read moreGreat view no doubt if you get a table in the first row. Unfortunately I have to repeat a previous comment and confirm that we did not feel particularly welcome. Maybe due to the fact that we had 2 children with us both people serving did not display any enthusiasm. There was no friendly word. Food was average, the meatballs and the lamb filet in rosemary sauce even poor. They charged 3,20 € for bread, without letting us know. The little sweet closure that is so common in Greek tavernas was not offered. Our children were disappointed. We went for an ice cream in the village seafront area. In response to our hosts comments: If the children were disturbing other customers we would have appreciated your feedback there and then. The larger group of 8 people next to our table and closest to the garden where they were playing was German, from Stuttgart area. From their conversation there was no negative comments regarding the children. Besides, you were frowning at us when we entered the tavern. To charge for bread is ok of course but we did not order the bread. If it is served unasked I expect it to be free of charge. Yes we finished the food because I hate to see food being wasted. This is a matter of principle. That does not mean it was all to our liking. Please respect our view. If I may suggest please get some consultation regarding professional management of client complaints. Denying all feedback is certainly...

Speedy service that came with a friendly smile closely followed by a delightful family dinner while looking out on panoramic view of the Greek sea. Food was a 10/10 also!
