My partner and I visited here and really liked the ambience and setting of the place. For this alone we chose this and the ratings/pictures. It was pretty busy so we said we’d wait for a table and have a drink, I think we were forgotten about sat under a tree on some stools so we had to chase a waitress down. We eventually got a table and nobody took our order for at least 10 minutes after the girl that brought our starter out asked if we’d ordered twice. She stated she couldn’t take the orders as that was another persons job but they took so long to arrive. We really wanted to try the goat pasta but unfortunately it was sold out as was the chicken. We did order the pulled pork and tuna kebab. The Pork was really tasty to give it credit, I think it does miss something on the side even if some nachos or coleslaw to garnish. This place has potential and a great setting but slight room for...
Read moreMy family and I recently ate at this restaurant. We loved the seaside patio, trendy decor, and friendly staff. We arrived early for dinner, just before sunset, so the restaurant wasn't busy at all. In fact, we were the only customers there at that time. We ordered goat, beef, and pulled pork. Food tookt 20mins mins to arrive. The dishes weren't visually appealing, Unfortunately, our excitement quickly turned into disappointment when we discovered that all the dishes were overly SALTY. It was a real letdown as this restaurant had received many positive reviews.
Although the food didn't meet our expectations, we must say that the atmosphere of the place was truly amazing. Sitting on the seaside patio, enjoying the pleasant weather and beautiful views, was definitely the highlight of our dining experience at this restaurant. We wish that the food had matched the price tag and...

If I ever got stuck in a desert, this is the restaurant I would dream about. What a wonderful place my boyfriend and I decided to try. The setting is peaceful, with a magical view of the golden shimmer reflecting across the bay and onto the houses of Katapola.
The people who run this place are some of the warmest you will ever meet — and that says a lot, considering how genuinely friendly everyone on Amorgos has been.
And then there’s the food… As I told the owner, when I tasted it, I felt like I went to heaven and back. It was so good that we couldn’t resist coming back for another night. The mixture of flavors, the creativity, and the way everything harmonized was simply incredible. It was like a siren calling from the sea.
No matter what you choose to eat here, you truly cannot go wrong.
Dreaming of coming back to Amorgos & Fata Morgana 🤍...
