I had lunch at a charming Greek restaurant located in Old Town Corfu, and I’m happy to share my experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is welcoming and typically Greek, with a rustic touch that contributes to a relaxing environment. The staff was friendly. -Saganaki is traditional Greek food was with shrimp ,feta cheese, fresh tomatoes and spices made the dish extremely tasty. -Tradicional corfiot dish with slow cooked beef. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with a ragù sauce that had a deep, intense flavor. The freshly grated cheese added a touch of creaminess and complemented the dish beautifully. An ideal option for those wanting a hearty meal. The vegetables stuffed with rice and meat were flavorful and well-cooked. The roasted potatoes served as a side were crispy and well-seasoned. This dish was a perfect combination of flavors and textures, offering a great vegetarian alternative. -Tradicional lemon chicken with rice.The chicken was perfectly cooked and tender. Simply outstanding! From the moment we stepped inside Abakas, we felt like we were entering a space filled with warmth, hospitality, and genuine respect for the guest. The décor blends traditional elements with modern touches, creating an atmosphere that is both cozy and refined.

The service was exemplary, polite, discreet, and knowledgeable. The staff was always available without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. A huge bravo to the entire team!

As for the food… truly magical. We tried the moussaka with smoked eggplant, possibly the best we’ve ever had. Every dish was beautifully prepared, using top-quality ingredients and presented with care. The salad with orange was refreshing and well-balanced, and the dessert, a syrupy pastry paired with vanilla ice cream, was the perfect sweet ending.

Prices are more than fair considering the overall quality and the experience offered. This isn’t just a meal, it’s a complete culinary journey.

Abakas has easily earned a spot among our favourite restaurants in Corfu, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, thoughtful cuisine and heartfelt...

In one word : EXCELLENT ! Everything was perfect from the start : the spot, the style, the terrace, the decoration, the employees, the manager (Kostas), the portions of fine Greek cuisine, the tastes and during Covid19 the cleanliness and precautions (small bottle of hydro alcohol solution at each table & service with masks).

We wanted a small good restaurant in Corfu town not very expensive but with great tasting Greek food. We made our choice thanks to TripAdvisor and this one looked good. So without a reservation, we went there and we were very lucky to find a free table (reservation is recommended). The employees were very correct, helpful, charming and friendly 😊. Congratulations guys! Keep this attitude forever please ! It really felt like I was part of your closest friends. The dishes we selected were : Tigania of porc, Grilled mushrooms, Dakos salad & Tiropitakia with honey 😋 (hum-hum I am still dreaming of it). Thank you all for this excellent moment.
