This place is slightly hidden from the tourist trap eateries nearby and has a quiet and shaded seating area out the back. We came here based on positive reviews and had chicken and pork souvlaki (skewers) which came with a decent amount of salad, fries, flatbread accompanied with a refreshing sauce. The chicken thigh meat was flavoursome while being crispy on the outside but not tough. The prices are very good for the amount of food that you get and I would be happy to eat here again.

That was our first dining experience in Greece and it was awesome. The service was a bit slow, we had to wait for some time but fair enough to say that it was busy. The portions are big and it tastes very nice, even though the prices are above average (10 for Chicken Souvlaki compared to 5-8 at other places), so you can surely find cheaper options along the way. All in all, definitely recommend it! A bit of a letdown: never got the ice for the drinks that we wanted, asked twice.

This place was a hidden gem! The main dining area was outside, nestled behind the main road with 5-6 tables with a fan which offered a lovely breeze. The food was amazing and the lady serving was very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend! The chicken souvlaki was so soft and fell off the skewer, a shame we are only here on holiday otherwise we would be back all the time! (Also was so so cheap! We couldn't belive our meal including drinks was only 40 euros!)

Good food but they were super arrogant. Their dog was barking a lot, we played with it and after that they didn't let us use the bathroom because they said we are not customers. We had to walk away. Either way. Worst experience in corfu in all week was here.

Later edit. Yes smart pants, my friends are afraid of dogs. They saw your commercial of back garden , and I played with the dog so that they can go in. It was all a misunderstanding. Still you were very arrogant. We wanted to stay and to eat and you just throw us away. 1 star is too much for your arrogance. It is good that you read the review. At least you can improve something on your behavior. I Will delete my review. I do not want to cause you...

A fabulous place to eat....food was stunning, freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and very very tasty. Our group included 2 vegetarians, and a Gluten free dinner....all catered for! Our favourites included: tzaiki, spicy cheese, Gio salad, chicken souvlaki, sausage and homemade fries.....the house Rosé was exceptional. Thomas made us feel very welcome and Costa's cooking of the highest standard....even the torrential rain and thunder didn't dampen our spirits or appetites.....we can't recommend Gio Souvlaki highly enough...thank you Pavlos Diakoumakos for recommending and sharing a wonderful...
