Aragosta Beach Club — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

I went to the Palaiokastritsas area of Corfu for 3 days to celebrate the birthday of one of my closest friends. One morning we randomly entered Aragosta Beach Club because it was right opposite our hotel. As soon as we entered, I knew we were going to have a wonderful holiday because the staff are the most kind, caring and wonderful people you will ever see in your life. If you think you've had good service anywhere before, I recommend you go to Aragosta because it will definitely be in your top 1.

For 3 days my friend and I tried almost all the cocktails, desserts and snacks on the menu. The chef is incredibly talented and the food is scary delicious. During the day, we spent time on the sunbeds at the beach club and in the evening we had dinner at Aragosta's restaurant with a view that I still can't forget. As a vegetarian, the taste of the food I ate is still on my palate. (My friend was not a vegetarian and she thought exactly the same thing.)

For starters, you can try tzatziki, buratta salad, roasted beetroot on different days, and if you want a healthy and an excellent main course with vegetables, I recommend cauliflower steak. If you need carbohydrates, pappardelle will give you an incredible pasta experience. As a dessert monster, I recommend every dessert on the menu with my eyes closed! Before I forget, their olives and olive oils were so delicious that I wanted to fill all their stocks in my suitcase. (Unfortunately I couldn’t… 🥲) And remember to dip your bread in olive oil.

But behind all these delicious meals, cocktails and comfortable beach club experience, there are wonderful people who work there like one big family with different life stories. Arrived there was very excited to go with my girlfriend to a fancy restaurant with my girlfriend and it started off as a very good experience but very fast went downhill. Asked from three different waiters for an ashtray and they didn’t bring until we asked for the forth time. The waiter that was supposed to be on our table spent the whole time flirting and hitting on the group of girls table that want next to us. Moving in to the food it was very mediocre the best dish was the olive oil and bread. The tuna tartar was drained with soy sauce and some type of spice. Ordered a fish fillet with confit potatoes that were totally hard and undercooked. The fish was raw squishy and non flaky, didn’t cut with a knife and when I told the manager he said I was wrong and that’s how it looked when it’s cooked even though I know what cooked white fish looks like. From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The location is unbeatable — with a stunning view that gives you front-row seats to one of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen. The vibe is super chill and relaxed, just what you want from a beachside escape.

The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was a hit! The cocktails were just as impressive: creative, perfectly balanced, and served with style.

The place is also impeccably clean, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. But what really stood out was the amazing team — so polite, calm, and genuinely welcoming. Their great energy and professionalism made us feel right at home.
