I recently visited Corner Café in Corfu and had an absolutely delightful experience. The location is perfect, offering a stunning view of the bay, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The ambiance is serene and welcoming, perfect for both a quick coffee break and a leisurely afternoon.

I ordered a waffle topped with ice cream and chocolate, and it was simply divine. The waffle was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, while the ice cream added a delightful creamy texture. It was a delicious treat that I would highly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.

The iced coffee was refreshing and expertly prepared, ideal for a warm day by the sea. The balance of coffee and milk was just right, providing a perfect pick-me-up without being too strong or too weak.

The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were attentive and efficient. They made sure I had everything I needed and were happy to accommodate any requests.

Price wise we had 2 sandwiches and 1 gyros sandwich for 2, tea, 2x cappuccino and an espresso = €30. Good price.

The waiter (owner) was nice but sadly he was not attentive in detail this is why the 1 star deduction otherwise I would give 5. My partner was somewhat neglected (milk for tea forgotten x2, and a hate for tomatoes- it was clear in his order to please leave it out). He had to wait for his sandwich being last served 4-5min after everyone else to find the tomatoes. This was promptly taken away and the new sandwich hardly toasted returned after 10min. Cheese was not melted at all. Unlucky I guess. But a little kindness from the waiter would have been appreciated. I have asked my partner would he give them a second go. His reply is yes as all the other food looked yummy and was prompt. He would try the gyros sandwich.

All the other participants enjoyed the food and the portion size was good. I think a sauce for my salami sandwich as an option would perfect it (herbed or garlic mayo or similar). I would go back.

Decor - some places broken tiles and shabby. Needs a little tlc. Clean through out and bathroom small...

Edit: Unfortunately, I have to edit my review because they didn't let us in again although they previously said that they are open from 12 pm. We came from a long way under the rain just to have a last sandwich but they just refused like they don't need our business.

Original review: Only bad thing I can say about this place is that they don't update their opening hours. In the maps, it says they are open from 9 am to 11:30 pm but as we learned, they are only open from 12 pm to 4:30 pm on off season.

For the food, we had club sandwiches. They are easily enough for two people and affordable. A great mid day snack. The waffle with Nutella and ice cream was also very delicious.
