Filippas — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

I chose this place because of the reviews. At first stuff was very friendly. We ordered 2 pizzas and drinks. They advertise pizza as 'home made'. 1 pizza was ok, we ate it all. Second one you can find on the picture. That was the Mexican one. The dough was soggy, all ingrediens were falling off the pizza. the stuff was passing by our table,saw the pizza we left,no one spoke to us. When we said we would like to pay we mentioned that we are not paying for thiz pizza as it is a misunderstanding. The waiter was a bit rude asking what is our problem,we kindly explained that it'a not a taste of it but whole pizza itself. Another waiter came, charged us, and threw (!) my card on the table. Really poor service, food had nothing to do with 'house...

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Filippas in Gouvia, and it was an outstanding experience. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Lamb Kleftiko, which was perfectly slow-cooked and incredibly tender, bursting with delicate Mediterranean flavors that made it truly unforgettable. The dish had that genuine home-style Greek taste, living up to the classic reputation of this specialty.

Additionally, the Souvlaki was super nice, juicy and well-seasoned, exemplifying authentic Greek street food done right.

Wouldn't eat here again. Staff were rude and generally not welcoming. For example, one of them sat on a table nearby and stared us down the entire time we ate our meal. Unacceptable. Very pricey, especially considering other local options within a 1-2 min walk. Okay if you're starving with no other option, but otherwise I see no reason...
