Cielo Beach Concept — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

I had a very disappointing experience here. I rented 4 sunbeds and 2 umbrellas. While the sunbeds were comfortable, the umbrellas are fixed and cannot be adjusted, which makes it almost impossible to stay in the shade. I moved the sunbeds slightly (no more than 50 cm) to get some shade, but the staff told me it was not allowed. At first, they said I could leave them as they were, but after an hour they came back and demanded that I move them back to the original position – which meant sitting directly in the sun.

When I explained that I did not want to sit in the sun and that it didn’t seem fair to have fixed umbrellas with no flexibility, the staff member responded with a mocking and dismissive attitude. Even after I expressed my dissatisfaction, he remained rude and arrogant, making the whole experience unpleasant.

A complete waste of money, zero respect for guests. Avoid this place...

This beach club has a stunning setting — stylish décor and a prime beachfront location. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. We ordered tempura prawns, a Greek salad, and a souvlaki with chips. The prawns, salad, and chips arrived first, but my souvlaki didn’t come for almost 20 minutes — with no explanation. It was frustrating to wait while the others had already started eating. When it finally arrived, it lacked seasoning and felt thrown together. When it came time to pay, we were simply handed the card machine without being shown a receipt — impersonal and rushed. The cabana staff were friendly but very strict about not moving sunbeds or umbrellas to follow the sun. The way it was enforced felt unnecessarily harsh and a bit unpleasant.
