The only good thing of this place is the view. The food is of low quality; the "pasta with seafood" consists merely of pasta with chopped surimi sticks.
However, the most disappointing thing is the children's playground. The playground is situated in the parking area, with cars driving and parked just a few centimeters away. If a child uses the slides or swings, they risk hitting a car with their legs. Moreover, the playground is entirely unsafe for children, with a concrete floor beneath the equipment and no safety barriers or guardrails for the swings and other structures. This playground poses significant dangers, and playing there could result in serious injuries.
I am unsure if there is any regulatory oversight in Greece, but an inspection is desperately needed to shut down this hazardous playground. It is worth noting that while the dining area has rubber mats under the tables, applying a similar safety measure in the playground could prevent potentially life-threatening injuries.
This situation highlights the owner's and staff's negligence and irresponsibility. It is truly disheartening. Do not visit this place!
Bakery and cakes looked good, but i was so disappointed I did not give...
Read moreBeautiful restaurant-cafe place with stunning views over Paleokasritsa. Dolce Cafe is located at the end of small village called Lakones. This place has very modern interiors with many terraces and almost every table has a great view. We were welcomed by a friendly staff. You can stop there for a nice coffee or for a meal. The menu itself gives you good options but it caters more for international tourists. Not many typical Greek options. We didn’t mind . We couldn’t decide what to go for so finished with ordering great coffees and cakes followed by cold meats & cheeses platter and fried zucchini. There are fantastic cakes offered. Plenty to choose from. Cheesecake and Greek orange cake were great . Cold platter was big with nice selection of meats and cheeses. Zucchinis were so so so tasty! Would definitely recommend that ! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I believe during the high season this place could be packed. Be aware that parking might be also a problem. We were all lucky and enjoyed our short coffee...
Read moreThis place is a hidden gem that perfectly combines breathtaking bay views, delicious food (we had a late breakfast/brunch), and an absolutely fantastic, stylishly chill atmosphere you wouldn’t expect from a roadside café.
A handy tip: there's a small parking area right in front with space for about eight cars. If you get lucky and grab a spot, it’s super convenient!
The café itself is quite spacious, thoughtfully divided into two sections. The left side offers an astonishing panoramic view, while the right side—slightly tucked away as you enter—feels more like a cozy, roofed balcony. It’s breezy, peaceful, and just as stunning, making it a perfect nook for those who love to relax, sip a cocktail, and watch boats drift across the bay.
We ordered poached eggs and Greek-style scrambled eggs. Both were very tasty, but the scrambled eggs 🥚 stood out as absolutely perfect—a masterful balance of flavors that...
