This charming, family-run taverna truly captured our hearts (and our appetites) for five consecutive nights. It's rare to find a place that excels in every aspect, but Ektoras delivers an experience that is extraordinary. The selection of seafood is magnificent, offering a true taste of the Ionian Sea, and their traditional specialties are equally outstanding. Every dish we tried was super tasty and served in generous portions, ensuring we left perfectly satisfied each time. What truly differentiates Taverna Ektoras, is the incredible warmth and hospitality of the owners. Both the father and son go above and beyond to make every guest feel comfortable and thoroughly enjoy their visit. Their genuine kindness is evident from the moment you arrive, as they host guests with delightful local appetizers. And as a final, sweet touch, they bid you farewell with an array of wonderful sweets, including the most delicious baklava. Nestled right by the sea, Taverna Ektoras offers not just incredible food but also a truly enjoyable and memorable atmosphere. Total Rip off. We were brought some appetizers that we DID NOT ORDER (like salad and small tiropita) which we assumed was included since we didnt order but we were charged for all of it. We asked about the price for the fish of the day and he wouldn't answer and after continuous asking he said "dont worry about it, we will weigh it" and made it seem like it wouldn't be much but we got charged double that anything else on the menu which was totally unexpected!! All meals were SMALL PORTIONS and most food items simply NOT worth it. Lamb chops are basically all bones. Then we got asked if we are still hungry enough for some watermelon for dessert (assuming it was included as it was offered and had been offered for free at other restaurants) but was charged again. We ended up paying a RIDICULOUS PRICE and when inquired the guy said "this is the price of these things" and quickly left before we could inquire more. I definitely did not tip after that....

This is one of several restaurants that border each other. If you look from the park towards the bay, it is the one furthest to the left.

The ambience is very nice, as you sit directly in the park and enjoy a great view. You have a better view of the play area from here, so the kids can play without any problems.

The appetizers were very tasty and they were happy to cater to special requests. The main courses were absolutely fine. The portions were large and they didn't skimp on the meat. The taste was fine, not too unusual, best described as tasty.

The service was excellent. The waiters were courteous and spoke German as well as English and Greek. She was very patient with us and never refused us a request. She always remained friendly and service-oriented. The waitress even treated us to two rounds.
