We were sitting in Nautilus enjoying a relaxing few cocktails and watching the fish when, out of nowhere and with no warning, the shutters suddenly started coming down at around 12:30 AM, despite the venue being advertised online as closing at 2 AM. It was clear they were using the shutters to quietly push customers out instead of just communicating and asking people to wrap up.
The area was still full of people — and worse, bags and even people’s legs were still on the other side of the shutter as it began coming down. Then, the top heavy metal bar from the shutter suddenly collapsed, smashing into my shoulder and hitting another customer on the head! I was left in serious pain, crying, and in complete shock from the impact.
While there was a half-hearted apology, one staff member — who wasn’t even the one who operated the shutters — came over and very rudely said, “what do you want me to do about it?” Another stood smirking in the corner, showing no concern at all for what had just happened.
The manager eventually came over and apologised, but it felt more like he was trying to cover himself than genuinely care.
when leaving the place we went to pay the bill, you would have thought in the circumstances the least the place could have done was to not charge us but the manager only offered to cover the cost of our last round of drinks; however, we had two rounds of drinks at a cost of €38 each. Despite the manager’s promise to cover the full cost of one round, this did not happen as we were charged €45!
The whole experience was dangerous, traumatic, and completely unprofessional. Shutters should never be lowered around customers without a clear warning, especially when people’s legs and belongings are still in harm’s way. I will absolutely not be returning and would strongly urge others to think twice about visiting until major changes are made to their safety procedures and...
Read moreWe only had a few hours to see the town as we were in a cruise of a lifetime. We arrived and a table overlooking the water became available. So we were led to it. After 20 minutes we were waited on. I jokingly said to my wife. I hope the service stays this slow as This is an amazing location. We sipped on our authentic Greek coffee. It was wonderful! When the menu finally was brought to us after I interrupted the server, I would discover that my whole adult life, I thought that souvlaki and Gyros were Greek food. We decided to play it safe. So we ordered a Greek Salad and Baklava, skipping the main course since our time was also running short to get back to the ship. The salad was incredible and the Baklava was the best we ever had. I’m sure that there may have been a good reason for the slow service. The location is unmatched. The quality of what we ordered was amazing. It was worth the wait and would be a great reason to come back to Corfu! Our best 90 minutes spent for dinner in a long time. Make sure to reserve one of the seaside tables. Oh and the local cats were fun to play with too. We would do it again in a...

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. Despite slow service and high prices, I always returned for the great food and amazing view. A year ago, I even wrote a glowing review.
But things have changed. Prices have nearly doubled, portions have shrunk, and the atmosphere feels cold and empty.
Today, we ordered coffee, food, and bottled water (€3). Other guests who only ordered drinks were given spring water for free, as used to be standard. When I politely asked to cancel the bottled water and just get the usual free water with coffee, the waiter refused. Later I was told that because we ordered food, we weren’t entitled to free water — only guests with drinks are. It makes no sense.
After 40 minutes, still no water. I said we’d pay for the coffee and leave the food untouched if they didn’t bring it. Only then did someone finally bring water.
This place used to be full of life and generosity. Now it feels overpriced, petty, and unwelcoming.
Sadly, after two decades, this was...
