Fegaropetra Seafood - Ψαροταβέρνα — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We were really excited to eat here. Not least because it was seafood on the coast with a great view. However, when we arrived the host turned up with the menu which he immediately replaced his recommendation from the kitchen.

He brought out a plate of fishes which he recommended. They looked great but when we asked how much they were he responded to say "I don't know its by the kilo" and he walked off without a second thought. Having looked at the menu where the main courses ranged between Euro15 and Euro26 we thought it would be fine.

The fish came which was great alongside a range of sides that the host recommended. The bill came and it was Euro 90, Euro 60 of which was the fish. This was disappointing as we had asked the price and the fish was 3x anything else on the menu. It is also 3x any food bill we have paid in Greece. Really disappointing end to our time in Corfu when everything else was fair...

Absolutely perfect experience from start to finish! The food was outstanding — the fish was incredible and full of flavor, and the moussaka was simply amazing. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of charm and comfort.

A special thanks to our waiter Vasilious, who was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. And to the owner Haris( i think i remembered correctly) — thank you for your hospitality and for making the whole experience even more memorable.

I recommend this restaurant!! I went there with my wife and son, the staff is kind and professional, the food the fish is something amazing, I had honor to meet the chef (owner) , this lady is a mix of geniality and humility, her hands are magic as her smile. I come from Italy, Versilia, a place famous for food and beach and shops , and I can tell without doubts , what I've eat here it's a superior level of cooking and quality little bit ahead too.
