Mesogeios — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

My boyfriend and I ate lunch at this lovely place. The front garden has a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The personnel was kind and attentive. Upon our arrival, the waiter brought us a big bottle of water and after ordering we were served fresh delicious bread with 2 tasty spreads while waiting for the main course. The moussaka was the best we had in Corfu. Shrimps souvlaki was all made on grill and tasted very fresh. I leave 5 stars because there is not the option with 6 stars. Visiting this restaurant for lunch the other day, on Easter Monday, was one of the best decisions we made on Corfu. The food was very tasty and well cooked, the service warm and simply perfect and the Staff extremely polite, gentle and empathetic. We really want to thank the owner of the restaurant, and Panaiotis and the rest of the waiters and waitresses (sorry cannot remember your names) who made us spend a very nice time the other day. Absolutely best food experience on Korfu and in Korfu town! Pasta is just exquisite (and perfectly al dente), seafood flawless, full of flavour and rare spices. The dessert - we had Ekmek Kadaifi - first time since 2 years I had a pleasure to taste REAL home made Kadaifi, which is actually very rare to find.

Totally must go place!

P.S Waiters are so kind and polite and heart warming. You are not treated like "just another meanigless costumer" as unfortunately you may feel in many other places...
