Express Saroco Grill House — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Avoid! Went 3 times to eat and every time a different person and a different price!! For the same things!! Clearly they scan your face and charge whatever they want! The 3rd time and when I finally asked why I got a different pricing to pay again, they told me that when you seat there to eat you get charged more! It’s nowhere written as the prices too! No boards or menu with the pricing anywhere! And I can speak Greek..I can’t imagine the charges to other tourists not speaking the language and able to communicate the “Greek”way… Food was also tasting different each time, meat wasn’t always properly done! This place is just on a good location on the main square of Saroco in Corfu and it was convenient. Walk around though, there are plenty of other eateries and restaurants for better price that is advertised knowing what you will...

The servers were friendly enough and spoke English, but my meal was disappointing. This is partly on me because I didn’t clarify but I discovered the hard way gyros is not the same everywhere. I thought I ordered (what I now know is a pita) chicken gyros but instead got a plate of the same ingredients (not wrapped in bread). This would have been fine if the chicken hadn’t been 60% fatty skin that I couldn’t stomach putting in my mouth, along with the occasional unexpected mouthful of bone. The chips were cold and limp. The price point might be competitive in town at €13 but not worth it in my opinion. I also ordered an aperol spritz because they couldn’t do the other cocktail on the menu. Sorry to say I didn’t enjoy this either as it was too heavy...

Surprisingly nice food. We just came to watch a game and have a snack, ended up ordering a huge platter of food to share. Everything was tasty and fresh. The potion was enormous for two people. Meat prepared really well with a lot of care. It is not a fancy place but I would recommend it if you want to eat something quick and tasty. The owner was very friendly, you can see he really cares about the customers. On the down side the table could be a little bit cleaner. Overall a nice simple place with no fuss for...
