Verano Restaurant Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

A group of us had rented the Lucky Villas [August 2025] and decided to check out this gem of a restaurant and bar right next door instead of dealing with the hassle of getting a taxi into town—and it was one of the best decisions we made during our entire week in Corfu.

We were immediately seated in the beautiful garden under a large tree. The restaurant and its accompanying hotel offer a stunning view of the Ionian Sea. It's a family-run business, and on my second visit I spoke with the owner briefly to give praise for his impeccable table service and manners; from the first minute to the last I was like this guy has some high end experience. Sure enough he has a stellar resume working in world-class hospitality across Greece and other major European cities. His son, who bartends and also assists with the tables, is just as polite and charming.

The menu was packed with great options, and the food was as delicious as it was beautiful. Everything was prepared and presented so well. There was a great selection for each course should you want to have multiple courses (you should here). The prices are exceptionally affordable.

We loved it so much that we returned the next day for brunch, which was just as wonderful as our dinner the night before.
