Awful experience. Initially a pleasant reception from the manager himself and the assistant waitress. A good recommendation for a nice wine to accompany our food order. We came here so excited for the food. We ordered the sea urchin pasta and octopus stifado. It arrived cold and the octopus was incredibly tough. We returned the food and had new dishes served to us. The pasta was slightly better but the octopus was still so bad. This dish had good flavour in the sauce, however was inedible on both occasions, chewing it over would have meant outstaying the restaurant opening hours. The manager told us this was because it was fresh. Fresh or not, just simply not worth ordering! Credit for trying to redo our dish, but it was just as bad. Outstanding level This new restaurant in Benitses was recommended by a friend. We are very thankful to her as this place surpassed our expectations... Spiros the owner and Mirella were certainly out of the ordinary; their professional, warm and friendly service, combined with .a menu that offers a variety of mouthwatering revisited classic corfiot dishes, and delicious new proposals, totally satisfied our curiosity. Nothing left to chance here. They make you feel as if you matter... the food is really high in standard (unusual for Benitses, where tourist fare is of low quality and very repetitive), excellent quality, fresh and very well presented, and not to forget the lovely contemporary decor. We had a lovely evening at Avli Restaurant! The staff was very friendly and attentive without being pushy — just the right balance that made us feel comfortable and welcome.

The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and charming, with a nice view near the boulevard, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner.

Compared to other restaurants in the area, the prices are a bit higher, but it’s absolutely worth it. You’re not only paying for high-quality food but also for the excellent service and overall experience.
