Three stars only because the service was somewhat OK.

I ordered Porketta (according to the menu - "pork rolls in the oven, served with baby potatoes") What I got was a piece of heavily salted cooked ham, with fries (frozen type, not fresh). Which is nowhere near the meal description.

I don't like to send food back and get in the middle of attention. I will just try to make the best out of the situation and never return. They knew pretty well what they would be serving to the customer and didn't care to ask if the blatant difference will be of any inconvenience to him. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the portions were large and delicious – so big that we couldn’t even finish them. The owner was very kind and even came to talk with us. We were treated with complimentary raki and dessert, which was such a nice touch. The waiters, who are actually the owner’s children, were also extremely friendly and attentive.

I truly recommend this restaurant, especially to Romanians, as the owners are Romanian and make you feel right at home. Our only regret is that we discovered this place on our last day in Malia – otherwise we would have definitely returned. Next time we’re in Malia, we will surely...
