Restaurant so good we ended up here twice in our week holiday. The first time we didn’t book and were sat out the front of the restaurant and the second time we did book and were sat in the garden. Wherever you sit the food is just as good so it’s neither here nor there but the garden is just slightly more secluded. The restaurant is a five minute walk out of the town but well worth it. Lovely (what appears to be) family run restaurant. Staff as so friendly and helpful and as well as a full Greek menu they have daily specials. The first time we visited we had starters and mains and it was about 50euros for 3 people including a litre of wine. The second time, similar price, but this time we had six appetizers as a tapas of sorts. Make sure you order something from the oven the veg and potatoes are great. Make sure it’s on your list of eat outs whilst in Malia- brilliant restaurant!

While staying in Malia you need to visit this place (wow) the food is amazing the best out of 7 restaurants we've been to this is on another level of authentic Greek food, we where recommended this place by the hotel we where staying in it was a short walk through the old town and set in a beautiful setting. The staff are very attentive and will help you with your choice of food if you are struggling. I would eat here everyday but my wife said we had to try other places! Which we did but returned here 3 times as it's so traditional and relaxed with amazing food and clay oven baked lamb, belly pork, rabbit, 😋. Don't try to eat 3 course meal unless you have starved yourself the portion sizes are big. I would rate this 5* on all levels service, staff, food and cleanliness. And the price is value for money. Small family business that know their customers.

We went to the Milos tavern for dinner after a recommendation from our hotel. The restaurant is situated in a very nice part of the old town, which makes the walk over fantastic. It’s probably good to make a reservation beforehand, but we were seated immediately. The facility is absolutely gorgeous, and the garden is even better. The service was no less than astute! Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was incredible as well. We had the lamb and the pork belly, and both were absolutely delicious and a lovely insight to the local cuisine. According to the menu, most if not all of the products used in the cooking is local, which comes through in the fresh and flavorful dishes. The prices were also more than fair! We would highly recommend this restaurant, for a date or for the whole family. It is easily a 10/10 experience.

Wow!
