This is my happy place every time I visit Crete. Nicola is so friendly and welcoming and has an absolute heart of gold, especially where the cats are concerned. She is the ultimate cat lady and will go out of her way to look after any stray that walks in, humans included 😊. I can’t recommend The Village Inn enough. The bartender was very sweet and thoughtful . He was very kind and really lifted the whole atmosphere in the bar. The drinks were good and the price was fair. Fab local bar with amazing staff and fantastic drinks. Everyone's always welcome and Nicola does fantastic work in respect of animals in need in addition to being an excellent hostess.

All the staff there are super friendly and you feel like a local even if you're only a visitor.
