Wow! Absolutely fabulous villa and the most amazing host Review of Pandora Villas Pending reviewReviewed Well! I have been to a variety of villas over the years and I can confidently say this is the best villa | have stayed at! I knew it would be good based on previous reviews, however the villa and Gaby and her team exceeded our expectations! On arrival we were greeted by a fridge full of food and a home made pastitsio hot and ready in the oven for us! Absolutely delicious and much needed after the travel from England. We also had ouzo, raki, wine, beers and soft drinks, a selection of teas and coffee awaiting our arrival. The beautiful villa had all of the amenities/facilities you could need and more, Gaby and her team left nothing amiss, it was literally like a home from home. The landscaping was beautiful in the most amazing surroundings with both sea and mountain views from the villa. The pool was lush, with a range of inflatables and lilos, there were also a range of comforable seating areas and swing chairs/beds, where you could choose to be either in the sun or in the shade. We spent many an evening under the canopy watching the shooting stars, talking and playing cards. You also get the most amazing sunrise, from your bedroom balcony if you want to get up early enough for it, you also get the most beautiful sunset if you walk two minutes up the road and stand in the space near the cemetery, its a very special spot. Aside from the villa being beautiful (really beautiful) and the fact that the villa' location was really well appointed, 7 mins walk from Old Hersonissos, 11 mins walk from Piskopiano, 15 Mins walk from Koutouloufari and a 25 min walk (downhill) or 5 min drive to/from Hersonissos, what made the holiday and cemented the fact that we will be back in the very near future was Gaby and her team. From the time of booking Gaby’s communications were second to none! I told Gaby that it was my son’s 18th birthday on the second day of our holiday, on his birthday we woke to the garden area decorated with garlands and balloons and the most beautiful tasting and decorated personalised chocolate birthday cake. I can confidently say this is literally the best stay away I have had and I thank Gaby and her team for the most amazing stay! Thank you so much, we will see you soon and keep in...

Wir haben das (für uns) große Los bei/mit Gaby in einer der Pandora Villen gezogen!!

Die Bewertung wird sehr lang (und nicht jeder Zeit/Lust alles zu lesen) daher: es war der schönste Aufenthalt in der allerbesten Unterkunft!

Wir machen seit über 12 Jahren Individualurlaub in Griechenland und haben noch nie eine so wunderbare Unterkunft auf Kreta gehabt.

Es ist ALLES (und noch viiiel mehr) im Haus vorhanden was man benötigt, um sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen und selbst zu versorgen. Der super gepflegte Garten-/Poolbereich trägt sein Übriges dazu bei!

Die Räume sind alle gemütlich mit einer persönlichen Note eingerichtet. Der Wohn-/Ess-/Küchenbereich ist groß und wohnlich schön. Natürlich hat das Wohnzimmer auch einen Fernseher mit diversesten Programmen, bequemen Sitzmöglichkeiten sowie einen großen Essbereich.

Bei der Ankunft war der Kühlschrank prall gefüllt mit diversen (alkoholischen/nichtalkoholischen) Getränken sowie Säften, Milch, Käse, Schinken, Marmelade, Würstchen und Eiern. Es gab zudem Gebäck, Berliner, Toast und Müsli (ich habe bestimmt noch etwas vergessen 😉). Die Küche ist mehr als komplett ausgestattet (Eiswürfelmaschine, Mehrfachtoaster, Kaffeevollautomat mit Kaffebohnenmahlwerk - hier waren natürlich auch schon frische Kaffeebohnen als Erstausstattung drin). In der Speise-/Abstellkammer gab es noch mehr Geräte wie zum Beispiel einen "normale" Kaffeemaschine und noch viel mehr.

Im EG gibt es noch ein kleines Bad mit einer kleinen Dusche und WC.

1te Etage : 3 Schlafzimmer (2 Doppelbetten, 2 Einzelbetten) mit sehr bequemen Matratzen sowie 1 Badezimmer mit einer großen Dusche und Waschmaschine.

Im UG gab es noch ein Zimmer, dass voll war mit einer riesigen Auswahl an Spielen für Kinder sowie eine Playstation mit einigen Spielen. Absolutes Spieleparadies für Familien mit Kindern und der Möglichkeit fernab des Fernsehers mal wieder zusammen Karten oder diverse Brettspiele zu spielen. Ausserdem gab es hier auch noch die Möglichkeit zu schlafen (2 Einzelbetten).

Alle Fenster/Türen haben Fliegengitter, die Terrassenfenster/-türen im unteren Bereich haben elektrischen Rollos. Klimaanlagen sind natürlich auch vorhanden.

Der Poolbereich ist groß. Hat etliche Bälle und Luftmatrazen zu bieten. Garten und Terrasse sind wunderschön gestaltet mit bequemen Liegen und diversen Sitzmöglichkeiten ausgestattet. Jeder findet hier für sich sein passendes Plätzchen. Es gab sogar einen Kicker.

Der Blick von den Balkonen (besonders bei Sonnenaufgang) ist der Wahnsinn und man kann bis zum Meer sehen.

Zur Lage: es ist natürlich von Vorteil einen Mietwagen zu haben, um die Schönheit Kretas auf eigene Faust zu entdecken. Aber man kann auch die Örtchen Old Hersonissos, Koutouloufari und Piskopiano zu Fuß erreichen. Sie liegen nicht weit entfernt und sind in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen. Der Weg zum Strand und nach Hersonissos selber sind auch nicht so weit weg und per Pedes machbar. Allerdings ist der Rückweg anstrengend, wenn man die Strecke wieder hoch laufen muss.

Gaby hat uns am Ankunftstag persönlich abgeholt. Für unsere Rückreise am sehr frühen Morgen haben wir uns zusammen entschlossen, dass wir einen der Mietwagen bekommen und konnten diesen dann problemlos an der Miewagenstation abstellen. Gaby hätte uns auch gefahren, aber die Nutzung des Mietwagens war für alle die bessere Wahl wg der frühen Abreise.

Zu Gaby: sie hat eine wahnsinnig positive Ausstrahlung, eine super freundliche Art und Herzenswärme an sich, so dass man sich wie "ein jahrelanger Freund" von ihr fühlt.

Wir kannten Gaby schreibtechnisch schon von mehrfachen Mietwagenbuchungen (ohne zunächst zu wissen, dass wir nun auch in ihrem Haus übernachten). Umso größer war natürlich die Freude, als wir feststellten, dass wir sie eigentlich schon jahrelang "kannten.

Fazit: unser Urlaub in der Pandora Villa war TRAUMHAFT!!!!! Wir haben uns in jeder Sekunde sehr wohl (und sicher) gefühlt und können Pandora Villas UNEINGESCHRÄNKT jedem ans Herz legen. Wir kommen wieder!
