Ψαρού Γλυφάδα | Psarou Glyfada — Restaurant in Municipality of Glyfada

We live very close to this remarkable restaurant. We have the pleasure of visiting the restaurant often. But I will never forget my first visit. It was a hot summer evening, just after the last wave of COVID-19. There was no one in the restaurant. I was particularly impressed by the kindness and friendliness of the staff, who told us a whole story about the food we were eating. I am particularly impressed with the ouzo collection that the establishment offers. Not only do the staff know the different brands, but they can tell the story of each brand in great detail. I am impressed from the first visit when the sad metal fish at the entrance were tapping lonely on the windows, I am impressed by the New Year's festivity, I love to enjoy the beauty that they had created on Valentine's Day! the staff is polite and typical of Greece, they remember their customers very well. For those who want to try a new style of Greek Fish Tavern, this is the place to go. Many dishes have just a twist to the normal which makes Psarou unique. Whether it is the taramosalata with sepia ink and shrimp crackers, the marinated Anjovis with pink pepper, the warm Mackerel with pita bread, paella with krithari pasta.... all are absolutely devine. We also had some fresh tuna which is one of the best I have eaten in a long time. Service is impeccable, we knew our waiter from another fish restaurant which we used to frequent regularly. A large selection of ouzo’s and tsipouro’s instead of the standard I get in most taverns. Value for money is awesome when comparing the food with other places. 24/3/19 Πηγαίνω εγώ και η κοπελα μου σαν ζευγάρι ηλικιας 26 και 24 αντίστοιχα,να φάμε στο μαγαζί μετά από υπόδειξη γνωστόν μου ότι είναι καλό.Μπαινουμε μέσα και μετά από 2 λεπτά μπαίνει και ένας μεγάλυτερος κύριος περίπου στα 65-70 και τον εξυπηρετούν πριν από μας και εμείς περιμένουμε.Εν τέλη μετά από 2-3 λεπτά αναμονής και εφόσον δεν έχουμε καθίσει έρχεται κάποιος να μας εξυπηρέτησει και μας προτείνει να καθίσουμε στον πάγκο για φαγητό πράγμα που αρνήθηκα γιατί άμα ήθελα να καθίσω στο πάγκο του μπαρ πήγαινα και για σουβλάκια!!!Μετα από αυτήν την ταλαιπωρία μας βάζουν σε τραπέζι και διαπιστώνουμε ότι και τα δυο πιάτα μας είναι λερωμένα και ζητάμε αμέσως αλλαγή.Ο ένας εκ των δυο σερβιτόρων που μας έφερε το πιάτο αντί να μας το τοποθετήσει στο τραπέζι μου κάνει νόημα με το χέρι εκτείνοντας το,να το πάρω εγώ και να το τοποθετήσω στο τραπέζι πράγμα που ο δεύτερος σερβιτόρος δεν το έκανε,το άφησε ο ιδιος στο τραπέζι και γενικά ήτανε άψογος σε ότι και να του ζητήσω, για αυτό και στο τέλος του έδωσα ένα μικρό ποσό για tips 5 ευρώ σαν ευχαριστώ.Να σημειώσω μετά από όλα αυτά ήρθαν να μας ζητήσουν από 4-5 φορές ο καθένας τους συγνώμη από το αφεντικο,την γυναίκα του και κάποιους σερβιτόρους για το θέμα με τα πιάτα.Εγω μπορεί να δέχτηκα την συγνώμη τους που ήτανε και αδικαιολόγητη αλλά δεν την (χώνεψα)!!Να τονίσω το θετικό σε όλα αυτά ήτανε το φαγητό που ήτανε ΑΨΟΓΟ,από τα καλύτερα που έχω φάει!!!Λοιπόν βάζω 2 αστέρια όχι για το φαγητό αλλά για την κακή μεταχείριση που είχανε οι ιδιοκτήτες προς εμάς νομίζοντας ότι ένα νεαρό ζευγάρι ήρθε απλά να φάει ένα ψάρι και να φύγει όποτε αυτοματος να τους βάλουμε στον πάγκο.Μην κρίνετε από την εμφάνιση και να φέρεστε σε...
