Terrible experience and service. Food was way too spicy and I speak as someone who has been to Peru. If you have eaten at other Peruvian restaurants, you won't find the food that spectacular. It's very average, with some not tasty dishes at all. Restaurant is empty so there's no ambiance, people who have gone before probably don't go back. They don't publish the wine list and prices to make you pay more. One wine bottle (11 euros in the supermarket), was first sold to us at 35 euros, and then they said it's actually 39 euros. We were 5 people, they added one portion to appetizers that had 4 pieces without telling us that it's an extra and wanted to charge us more. They write the prices in pencil on the menu, to give themselves a chance to increase prices. They charged us for an extra bottle of water that we never had. They haven't understood the concept of customer experience. But the worst part? When we gave that feedback, they acted rudely, refused to look at us or speak to us. The customer is definitely not king here. The best indicator of the service you will see, is how the owner answers his reviews. It tells you all you need to know about his view of...
Read moreMust visit restaurant when in Athens! This exquisit restaurant is located in Glyfada and is one of the brightest gems in the area. It's hard not to be lyrical about this place. The dishes created by the chef al have a twist and combine the cullinary aspects and bold flavours from Peru with the refined and balanced pallets of the Japanese cuisine. The plates presented wouldn't be out of place in any of the (michelin) star restaurants I visited. Asside from the incredible food, the service was top notch, they could explain in great detail what the recepies contained and our waiter made some great recommendations. On top of that the restaurant was decorated in a way that made you forget the somtimes grimey graffiti filled streets of a metropole like Athens and made you feel like you where transported to a retrait high up in the Andes, but with the luxury, class and best produce Greece has to offer. In short, when in Athens go and dine at Huracan, get off the beaten track and be engulfed by the aromas and fragrances from this...
Read moreGreat food, elegant, beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere. Valet service. The reception was great. The service from the waiters was good until a table with 12, 14 people arrived. From that moment on, there were no more waiters available for the other tables. All the waiters served that specific table. We stayed for several minutes trying to signal for us and they didn't even look at us. To order a Coke was a martyrdom. Plus it took a while to get it. We gave up ordering dessert. The fact that a large group arrives does not justify forgetting to even look at other customers and meet their needs. Get better!!! I will go back because the food is good. I hope they have improved and then the evaluation...
