Il Salotto... — Restaurant in Municipality of Glyfada

While visiting Glyfada I had dinner here and was extremely satisfied.

The quality of the food plus the usage of super fresh produce and outstanding olive oil made this a memorable experience

The service and description of the owner and staff are inviting and make you feel like home

Next time I am in glyfada again I will be back 100%

I was back in the area for a few days and had to visit this amazing restaurant again . Just like other times the service and food and entire experience is top notch!

We had a combination of various dishes , of which each was delicious and prepared with very fresh ingredients.

The staff and owner (?) are extremely well informed about the menu and daily specials. We chose three of the daily specials and an extra entree off the main menu .

Starters was a puréed vegetable soup the had celery root for creamy texture instead of the often heavy crème , therefore maintaining a vibrant and light start to the meal . Awesome dish !

Next was a Salad that was a fun and delightful mixture of greens topped with prosciutto , mangos and figs .

For main courses we got the veal meatballs and scallopini “ala Pizzaiola” . Both mains can be accompanied by either grilled vegetables, potatoes or wild rice . We chose grilled vegetables (amazing) and wild rice . The veal was tender and juicy and along with the vegetables made a good combination. The scallopini was topped with a tomato , olive and caper sauce that resembled a lighter version of a putanesca. Borh entrees were exceptionally made .

House white wine is light , delicate and very refreshing while compliments the food .

We were offered a desert on the house which was a tiramisu and a mini milfeille I believe . Fresh light and delicious.

There is nothing more I can say but praise this excellent restaurant & hidden gem in Glyfada.

Cheating with smile. Everything were perfect, me and my son were only one guests at the beginning of evening. Owner meet us with great hospitality. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and beer. Owner brought also home baked bread plus four olives and half of tomato which we didn't order. He told that it is all home made. I was thinking it is a sign of his hospitality. At the end we were charged in the bill for this "hospitality" and food which we didn't order. P.S. It doesnt make any sense to bring bread for pasta. I clearly ordered only 1 dish for ONE person + 1 bear. The host lulled my vigilance with conversations about the war in Ukraine and words of support. I was going to give the highest rating, but the entire impression was ruined by this...

This is a fantastic restaurant! A lovely experience with an excellent selection of made-to-order dishes. My girlfriend is Italian and as such, is usually not excited to visit Italian restaurants but she absolutely loves this place. The owner, Giorgo, is an absolute star and deserves a ton of praise for his respect to the cuisine and to his customers. If you are looking for an amazing dinner experience, this is the place. Don’t leave without trying...
