Not many good options available in Glyfada on a Monday evening and this restaurant appeared to be open so we stopped in to try it .
Nice warm and inviting environment . Quickly greeted by the staff and brought menus and explained specials . We were not too hungry so we stayed with a pasta dish and skipped salads and starters.
Red wine is offered by the glass for a few choices . Main pasta dishes we chose was a light tomato based spaghetti with cherry tomato and basil and garlic . Waiter was able to adapt dish to lighter version of fresh garlic . Other pasta dish was the pacceri with a slow braised ragu of beef topped with Parmesan. Nice winter dish that warms you .
Dishes tasted good , and although we were not very hungry they appeared to be on the smaller portion side for the price .
As an end of dinner digestive we were offered limoncello , but it was not good nor in the traditional fashion I have had in Italy and we did not drink it .
Overall a fair restaurant for a Monday night , but judging by other Italian restaurants in town, I think it may take some time for me to return if I am ever back...
Read moreSince i came to Greece to work here for an UHNWI client, i wanted to have a proper pizza after all these super and extraordinary meals... and found this restaurant by browsing, as usual. So, unfortunately had no idea that reservation is needed and as soon as they have opened at 7pm, immediately fully packed. An amazing friendliness by the servers and main hostess, they have offered me a table as reservation is coming later. Wonderful and professional approach, fast order take, almost no waiting - got my perfect pizza in just 5 minutes, even if the orders were flying in. But pizza, let me tell you... what a pizza! I took Diavola and it was just amazing. Probably best pizza i ever ate and trust me. I have tried pizza on 4 continents and probably in 60 countries... 100+ restaurants ( excluding the ones in my home country ). Just proper proper one. I am super thrilled about the service and quality overall. Thanks. Will...
Read moreTotally different experience than few months ago. Even though there was plenty of empty tables in patio we were seated in the corner next to the fridge. It was just two of us and we were seated next to a large group of people with kids celebrating birthday. Not a space for a couple having Friday romantic meal. Last time we were given complimentary bread sticks and dip but this time you get them only if you order a specific meal. I asked for Peroni beer in the bottle and I've got a draft in the glass. Roka salad was good but it could use a bit more of dressing. Waiters had to pass by me hundred times to get to the fridge. Dissapointing was to see that vine by the glass is served from a cardboard box with vine. That is cheap vine to drink. Pizza was OK although it could use few more minutes of cooking in the bottom since it was too soft. We will think twice before we go...
