We came to this place after being turned away at another place with mostly empty seats. Despite the fact that the restaurant was almost completely full, they found space for us. Even after the place filled they started bringing out more tables and chairs for other guests that rocked up! The service was no fuss and quick. We were served decently quickly and food also came out quickly. We got the saganaki cheese and season salad. Salad was plentiful and tasty, cheese was yummy but it's literally just a fried slab of cheese with lemon for 7.5€. We also chicken souvlaki which was well cooked and tender but again, more than I would usually expect to pay at 12€. I guess that's what happens when you're on an island with only donkeys to carry everything about.
My favourite part of the whole experience, however was at the end of the night. After finishing our meal a bird sht from the gorgeous vine leaves above. Talk about ambience! When we made the waiter aware of this he simply stuck his finger in the sht and said "it's just from the leaves". 🤮 Mate, I know a poo when I see one! He then went on to serve other guests without washing his hands. Just had to walk away and laugh...
Read moreWe have been here many times in the past.
This time, we were really disappointed with the manager and one of the waiters who was using his phone camera to record our female friend whilst she was getting into the toilet on her swimming suit and the waiter was joking/commenting on a a video call with his counterpart.
Following discussion with the waiter and the manager, there was no intention to resolve the issue, not even apologize, but they invented ridiculous excuses to justify the unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour of their waiter.
Of course, we left after this incident and we will not come back in the future and we will not recommend this place to our friends&families.
Poor management, totally unprofessional. Very disappointed from their behaviour that discouraged us from enjoying our dinner.
I wish I could give less than one star for their incompetence to...
Read moreNice fish but overall really disappointing due to portion sizes. My wife ordered the fried sardines which were quite nice and price and portion size was good. Unfortunately the pork souvlaki (please see attached image) which was €8 was an absolute rip-off. It consisted of one small skewer of pork and 12 (yes 12) small chips. These were overcooked and extremely oily. We ordered a Tyrokafteri dip which was €4 but was terrible. It was very creamy with little flavour and tasted as if it had gone off. We were also charged €2 for four small pieces of bread and €1.50 for some water. You are also constantly hounded by cats and flies under the vine leaves. In my opinion it's not worth the effort and there are much better...
