Spilia beach and sunset restaurant is in my view truly unique. Coming from South Africa where we have access to some of the most beautiful soft white sandy beaches, getting into the deep blue waters of the Aegean sea by climbing over rocks and then down with a stainless steel ladder, was a bit scary but absolutely exciting!We loved the whole experience of just floating on the calm warm water which now and then become a bit wavy as passing sea crafts stirred up the water. Kids were jumping from the rocks, shouting and challenging each other. Lovely young bodies in tiny swim suits mixed with older bodies showing off lives well lived and everybody was enjoying themselves.
