Amalour — Restaurant in Municipality of Hydra

Amalour is our favourite bar venue in Hydra . It’s’ a very cool and trendy place with such a fun vibe overlooking the best street corner on the island. We so often comment on how it’s definitely one of the best bar venues we’ve visited in all our travels around Europe. We were welcomed so warmly every night by Clydius who looked after us all night and was the most amazing host ever. We were also so well greeted and served by Zoe and Dimos who were very professional, attentive and personable. My friends and I spent every night of our week long trip here, partially because it was 1 minute from our apartment but mostly because it was hands down the best bar on the island!! The atmosphere, drinks and MUSICCCCC were all straight fiya gasoline and I will probably be returning to Ydra for this reason alone. The cocktails especially were very good and the shots went down a treat! All 10 of them!!! Staff were very very friendly and welcoming and even gave us a farewell gift on our last night! Thank you! The worst drinks we ever had!! And literally I have visited super many bars in my life (bad ones too as a student). This low quality I never experienced!! Only the staff is friendly wanting to assist you. The owner needs to hire a pro barista!
