Knossos restaurant Paleochora — Restaurant in Municipality of Kantanos-Selinon

Yesterday me and my husband went there. The hotel that we stay told us about this amazing restaurant. Mike is an amazing cook and awesome person. He made us some delicious dishes. Some Greek specialities that this restaurant is famous! I had the best mousaka! We are totally amazed with the quality, quantity and of course with the whole family atmosphere....

Taverna semplice e autentica, leggermente defilata dalla ressa dei locali (tutti uguali) ammassati nel centro di Paleochora. Qui si mangia greco, senza fronzoli né immagini ingannevoli. Il servizio è cortese e discreto, i prezzi sono decisamente convenienti ed è possibile scegliere i piatti del giorno guardandoli con i propri occhi direttamente in cucina (naturalmente schermati dal vetro per giusti motivi di igiene). L'atmosfera intima e familiare fa quasi dimenticare di essere al ristorante, e credo che questo sia il loro punto di forza.

Simple and authentic tavern, slightly away from the crowd of locals (all the same) crowded in the center of Paleochora. Here you eat Greek, without frills or deceptive images. The service is kind and discreet, the prices are very affordable and it's possible to choose the dishes of the day by looking at them with your own eyes directly in the kitchen (naturally shielded by the glass for right reasons of hygiene).
