Nissi beach bar restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

This is THE best beach bar in Kos. They have extra large and comfortable sunbeds. Since there’s always a high demand for them, I advise you to come at around 10am or you have to be lucky or wait to get a sunbed during main season. When you do go there, the staff is super nice and you feel very welcome. One time we went there they even carried the second sunbed to one that was standing alone! They always brush off the sand for you when you arrive at your sunbed.

The food there is super good! I always had a vegan burger (they have good vegan options!!) and it was soo delicious. My dad also enjoyed his cheeseburger. The drinks are very good as well and I can highly recommend the homemade lemonade.

Overall the experience at Nissi Beach is unbeatable. We tried many beaches in Kos, but this one is by far the best one. It is very well organized and the music that is playing isn’t too loud / annoying, so it is also a place to relax!

Over the course of three days, we spent more than €600 here. When I sent back a bagel because the avocado was unripe, the eggs were overcooked, and the bun was cold, they told us we had to pay for it because I had “eaten half.” In reality, I had taken three bites and then left it untouched for 20 minutes while we repeatedly tried to get the attention of the staff.

Whether they didn’t hear us or just didn’t want to respond, I don’t know – but this has been a consistent issue at this restaurant: it’s extremely difficult to get hold of the waiters.

We will not be coming back. Every dish we tried was disappointing, and when we calmly said we didn’t want to pay for the one clearly failed dish, they got defensive and refused.

Asked for a pepsi and a fruit juice. Waited over 30 minutes for the drinks whilst being very hot and having a salty mouth from a swim in the sea. They came in plastic cups which were cheap and one use only. After drinking this only because I was very thursty and had nothing to drink, I left without paying. I admittedly should have told them first that I wasn't prepared to pay before leaving. They chased after me so I paid however, I don't believe they deserved the money for their service. They told me about how it's not fair as it comes out of their wages that they work hard for but they forget I also work hard for the money i spend on holiday. I have spent thousands just to go on holiday in Kos, I have no other motivation to not give them 7€...
