I'm sorry to write this review…
We were looking around for a restaurant where we could eat fish for dinner.
A waiter arrives and presents us with the menu, then calls his colleague and describes their main fish dishes. He offers us a mixed fish dish and a kilo of fresh grilled fish that he will show us and let us choose at the table. The complete dish can be divided into 4 people.
In the meantime we sit at the table, order a drink and wait for the choice of fresh fish.
Minutes pass and more customers arrive… The couple next to us decides to eat fish and shortly afterwards a second waiter arrives with a tray for the choice of fresh fish, with the relevant explanations.
This choice was never given to us.
After a nice moment, our dish for 4 people arrived (photo attached), which however was only enough for 2 people. We also didn't know what kind of fresh grilled fish they had prepared.
Once we've finished eating, the waiter clears the table, taking away plates, cutlery and placemats, leaving us only the glasses, without even asking if we'd liked anything else... along the lines of "I can't wait for you to leave".
Given the somewhat rude behavior, we decide to get up from the table to pay. We are about to get up, but the waitress who was supposed to let us choose the fresh fish joins us immediately. She says she wants to bring us something offered by them: after two minutes a saucer arrives with pieces of watermelon. Immediately afterwards she offers us a cocktail offered on the house.
In reality, however, we came here to eat fish, but we received not enough fish for 4 people…
When the waitress brings us the bill, we ask why everyone was made to choose fresh fish, while we weren't. The answer was that she thought about choosing for us. Usually a waiter should never choose on his own initiative what to bring to the customer!
After this we are further surprised by the receipt: €5 for a one-litre bottle of sparkling water.
There are some other thinks that went wrong, but I don't want to add...
Read moreWe’ve been coming to this beach for a few days now. First time we came, we just stumbled across the owner and entered, we wanted some sunbeds and later, to wach a game. They met every one of our needs in minutes, and worked to give us the best possible places. The staff is extremely helpful and quick, not understaffed at all. The food is -actually- great, which is not always the case in beach bars. We ate soups, salads, meat… everything tasted absolutely amazing. The drinks are ice cold and delicious, we were never even slighlty dissappointed. Since it’s the Olimpics now, we’ve had some specific requests for different programmes on TV, and they always found them and let us watch. One time our rental bikes got mixed up, and the lady was so quick to help us. And - we always get a coctail on the house. Even though there are hundreds of people coming in and out here, they remembered us by name. So I’m giving them the best review possible. Well done for the work, we felt so...
Read moreVisited today on its last day of business as recommended by somebody in our hotel .Nice place ,friendly staff and clean facilities. We had 2 lattes, and 3 bottles of beers between me and my mum ,coffes very nice .Beer came with ice chilled glass ,which was ideal in the hot weather for us .Fantastic setting right on the beach ,with good seats and sunbeds to lie on ,at no extra charge .Wish we had visited sooner ,as its a smashing little bar ,but as its late in season we really didn't think many places would be open . Sadly as we're still her in kos the island has gone into lockdown ,and forcing all the shops and restaurants/bars to close ,which is crazy as there's still plenty of holidaymakers here ,its safe and the ppl and businesses still need our money and custom .Feel sad for the owner and staff as he was clearly passionate about it .Thank you for making us feel welcome ,and stay safe and...
