Omega Sky Bar ~ Cocktail Bar Kos — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

We went today for the opening of the new summer season and it was my first time there. Regarding the good things, it indeed has a nice view to the sea and it is a protected sky bar, that kept us safe and warm from the ongoing rain. The bad things: • boring music and little effort put in the opening • Apart from the extensive cocktails list, there were limited options of wines and beers and especially for wines, they had several options for bottles but for a glass, they only had home cheap wine and sangria • After the waiter accidentally spilled one of the sangrias on us (clothes, bags, shoes), even though he personally felt bad and offered to even pay for the cleaner’s (which of course we would not accept, since it was an accident), the managers on the other hand did not care one bit to make amends, by for example offering the sangrias for free or with discount, or give us at least a round of shots. Omega Sky Bar is hands down the best cocktail spot in the city. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is amazing, thanks to the friendliest and most fun staff you’ll meet. The view is absolutely stunning, the cocktails are out of this world, and the menu is huge! (Oh and a big plus: they also got some mocktail options, just ask the waiter!) What really sets this place apart are the original and creative cocktails, many of which we’ve never seen anywhere else, and they’re served in fun, funky glasses that match the drink’s theme.
