Fantastic wine tasting experience highlighting the best the region has to offer, tucked away in a beautiful building you can only find thanks to the hand painted signed dotting the path. Father & son owners are the charm of this spot and both speak English beautifully (+ Spanish, and probably other languages too). True connoisseurs of wine who love what they do. They offer 6 glass tastings (3 white, 1 rose, 1 red, 1 dessert wine—all from the local region) + 3 small meze plates (bruschetta, cucumber w yogurt & oregano, and cheese w paprika) for €35/person. Reasonably priced for a unique experience only available in Monemvasia.
🍝 You MUST order the meatballs (€9 and worth every penny). Homemade fresh to order, oregano heavy, and paired with a slightly sweet spaghetti. Together, they are heavenly and unlike anything else I’ve eaten in Greece.
🍷Also available by the glass (mine was €8). They also have Kaiser beer.

We had a lovely time and would definitely go back. Big plus is also the nice and quiet area where the bar is located, a bit away from the...
Read moreWhile wandering around Monemvasia we poked or heads in here because it's an interesting looking space. The woman who runs it invited us in with a comforting "please feel free to look around, don't worry about buying anything". We ended up chatting with her for awhile and then did end up each getting a glass of wine to be able to sit and chat some more. We were joined by a lovely group from Wales and there were interesting stories all around. The woman who runs the shop is very carefree and low pressure. Our visit here will remain one of the highlights of our visit...
