Italico Mykonos — Restaurant in Municipality of Mykonos

If you are like us, you will check the reviews before you come. We saw the bad ones and decided to go anyway. TL:DR: We had the perfect dinner!

We booked a table for two online for 7pm, when we arrived they gave us a really great table next to the railing with a perfect view on the bay and the sunset. We had a starter, the ravioli with truffles, the beef filet (on point) with asparagus as the main. For dessert we had the Tiramisu and a cake special that was not on the menu that one of the waiters recommended to us. Everything tasted really good and the quality matched the price. Yes it was expensive, but we are on Mykonos, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise to you.

Wir besuchten Italico aufgrund einer Empfehlung unseres Hotels. Das Restaurant hat eine fantastische Lage mit Blick aufs Meer. Leider ist das auch schon alles. Obwohl das Restaurant nur zur Hälfte besetzt war, erhielten wir einen mittelmässigen Tisch. Der Kellner empfahl die Goldbrasse in Salzkruste, was wir bestellten. Ausserdem bestellten wir Risotto. Leider war der Fisch nicht genügend durch und musste noch nachgegart werden. Die Beilage war leider kalt, bis der Fisch ferug war. Der Risotto auch war bereits gegessen. Fehler können passieren, Sehr schade aber, dass das Servierpersonal nicht für die Fehler geradesteht und versucht, die Situation zu retten.,erst auf Nachfrage erhielten wir ein Dessert offeriert. Das war leider noch nicht alles: auf der Rechnung stand auch das offerierte Dessert und das kleine Fischfilet, das nach dem Nachgaren auf unserem Teller lag, schlug mit 170€ zu Buche. Als wir uns erneut beschwerten, wurde die Servicekraft ausfällig und rassistisch. Ein absolutes No Go. Fazit: für ein Carpaccio (sehr gut!), ein Tuna Tartar, einen Risotto und ein bisschen Fisch ohne Beilage, ein Wasser, 2 Franciacorta, einen Mojito und 2 Espressi bezahlten wir 437€ .
