We had the pleasure of lunch at the restaurant, where the waitress was blissfully unaware of the menu and had no clue about possible allergies. She couldn’t even manage to explain why there was an asterisk next to certain foods. Impressive, right?
As if that wasn’t enough, she decided to inform us after we ordered that some dishes weren’t available. Because apparently, giving a heads-up beforehand is too much to ask.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, 30 minutes after we ordered, she casually mentioned that they were out of buns, so she couldn’t serve our dish. Fantastic.
The food took its sweet time arriving—just a Greek salad and a club sandwich, by the way. Not exactly gourmet fare that justifies a long wait.
When it finally arrived, the Greek salad was a masterpiece of mediocrity: tasteless tomatoes and an overload of cucumber and onion. Yum. The club sandwich was okay, but the Naxos fries? Limp and far from crispy.
And let’s not forget the view! A lovely part of it was the trash bins. Just what you want while you’re eating.
This review is only about the restaurant. Do yourself a favor...
Read moreThis place was just soo great! Planned on only going the first evening, maybe another, but ended up going every night. 🙈
It had the best vibe. To sit, you could choose between a table or just at the bar, but there were also very cozy seats and you could even sit outside in a kind of outdoor lounge. Again, really cozy. And the music was nice too.
The drinks, they were just great! There was a lot of choice on the menu and they were sorted per type of alcohol. The ingredients were listed below, too. If you'd prefer another drink you didn't see on the menu, just go up to the bar and ask the barman for any other (classic) cocktail. Or just ask him to put a little more, a little less or just no alcohol in it and he'll be all up to it! Honestly, the best and sweetest barman I ever met. A LOT of love to him! Actually everyone working in this bar was just soo nice and really kind. 🫶🏻
Already fell in love with the Island of Naxos, and this place made it even better. A lot of love to...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant with high expectations but left deeply disappointed. The two waitresses were friendly but clearly reactive and not very proactive. We waited over 40 minutes without receiving our food and, even worse, without any information or reassurance from the staff. When we finally asked about our dishes, we were told that this kind of delay was normal because the restaurant was busy. Still, it took another 40 minutes to serve us, bringing out the dishes two by two, despite us being a group of six.
Unfortunately, the experience was extremely frustrating. While the restaurant has a good reputation, the management is seriously lacking. This experience was a reflection of poor organization and inefficiency. It's a shame because the place has potential, but it urgently needs improvements in customer service.
This example perfectly reflects Greece and its economy—disorganized,...
