Excellent restaurant. This is a low key restaurant but you will notice it is always busy. I tried it out of chance and I was more than pleasantly surprised. I think I will downgrading some of yhe other restaurants in the area for which I wrote a review. Food and service excellent. I had the souvlaki which was tender very tasty, succulent and filling. Together with a Naxos salad and a coke came €16.60 which is a very reasonable price. As I was eating, they were preparing the evening special, small pig on a spit. I think I found my date for the evening 😂. I also noticed they did the Classical Greek dishes stuffed peppers and tomatoes etc. Being Greek I can they reminded me of home cooking just by looking at them. I think you will not be disappointed if you give it a go.

Read moreMy wife and I went to this restaurant for dinner today. First of all I would like to say that this restaurant is rated much too high with 4.3 stars! The young waiter was friendly but you have to do your job better. We had as an appetizer peppers pickled in garlic. These were definitely not homemade but from a canned jar. We then had souvlaki as our main course, once with fries, the other with salad. The fries were only lukewarm. I know that the fries in Greece are different than in Germany (that is also completely clear), but hot they could still be. My wife liked to dress her salad additionally with vinegar and oil and asked the waiter to bring them to her. She waited 15 minutes, that just does not work. I still wanted to get salt for the fries and went to be on the safe side myself to get this. I found this in the restaurant faster than the waiter and took it myself to the place. The taste of the pork souvlaki was okay, but the chicken souvlaki were much too dry for my wife. Finally, something positive: I love to drink my soft drinks (had a Coke) with lots of ice and this was absolutely fulfilled. Our waiter brought a "bucket" of ice cubes and tongs! I decided not to tip because I just wasn't happy with the service. I am very happy to tip, and plenty of it, if the service and quality are right. However, this was the first restaurant in Greece where I did not...
Read moreThis is a lovely, busy, vibrant place to eat. The staff are warm and friendly. The atmosphere has the vibe of a popular family place and the food is superb. Swordfish is outstanding. Beef in tomato sauce, falls to bits and is delicious (a bit like stifado but not in a clay pot) Both came with really good chips, made from real potatoes with a delicious seasoning (possibly oregano based, but subtle) The old guy who takes the orders (possibly the owner?) is a real character. Worth noting, this is predominantly a fish restaurant, but they do other dishes too. Local wine - excellent. Don't be put off if it looks really busy, they have the...
