Lefteris Seaside Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Ordered the steamed mussels, baked lamb in the oven, and grilled chicken with rice. Accompanied with house rose wine.

Sad to say, with the exception of the mussels which were excellent in a mustard white wine sauce, everything else was bad to the point of being inedible. The chicken was overdone and as dry as chewing gum. The rice was cooked with butter and nothing else. Rice and butter is not a match made in heaven. The lamb was extremely gamely, somehow contriving to be both soggy and dry at the same time. And the rose wine was merely watered down vinegar.

Both the mains were served at different times. The goat was served cold. What kind of self respecting restaurant does that? The wait staff was not up​ to standard.

Outside of the serving of food, the waiters were nowhere in sight.

Bread and water costs extra, and are more expensive than other comparable restaurants.

Not recommended. There are plenty of other decent restaurants on Koufonisia, though maybe not as fortunately situated. If you care at all about the quality of food and service...

A terrible experience! Three waiters asked for our order which we had to give three times! It took forever for our mains to be delivered (all orders on already cooked food) and they all arrived at different times. We all ate at different times with the last of us 1 hour after the order was given. Please mind that we were the only customers at the time so I have no idea how they manage when busier. The food was average and nothing like I remembered it 8 years ago when I visited for the first time - a great disappointment. The waiters forgot to bring us the drinks! And at the bill they insisted us to pay for 2 bottles of mineral water although they only gave us 1. So, I counted 4 serious points of failure which without a second thought awards the restaurant 1 star! Do you want to have a nasty experience? Then visit this restaurant. Food is ok, service was terrible. Everything took forever to get served, plates were almost dropped onto the table, waiters were shouting to each other, and this was during off peak hour (18:00) As it’s also probably the only place with a handful of sunbeds, we made our reservation TWICE and still when we got there they said they could not facilitate due to high demand “from staying guest that have priority” (?!) In the end they gave us 2 large cushion and charged us 15€ - and when we asked for the third cushion they made us pay an extra 10€! Coffee is very low quality and overpriced.
