Symposium | Greek Cuisine Restaurant - Naxos — Restaurant in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Confused by the reviews in here we went last night… tables are right on the main road… yes there is a sea view but so do all the restaurants on this road. We ordered gyros and catch of the day to which we specifically asked if it is grilled. We got in an hour time souvlaki instead of gyros and a pan fried fish which was definitely not fresh but frozen. They even managed to get the tzatziki wrong… when we pointed to the waitress that this is nothing to do with what we ordered all she said sorry my mistake but not food was taken back but left on the table. We decided still not to ruin our evening and did give it a try - it was horrible. We left it there on the table untouched. No money as deducted and arrogant and slow service right in the dirt if the main road. The funniest is that all the private pools that they advertise on these islands have nothing to do either with privacy or infinity and as in this restaurants case we were eating right next to it so whoever had booked it could have dined with us 🤣🤣🤣🤣ridiculous and...

We had dinner for two and were initially a bit hesitant due to the limited menu selection and slightly long wait for our dishes to arrive. However, we completely changed our minds as soon as the food was served.

The quality was absolutely incredible: each dish was a delightful surprise of flavors and freshness, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Clearly, the restaurant's philosophy focuses on offering fewer dishes but ensuring exceptional quality, and our experience fully confirmed this approach.

The staff was courteous and helpful, adding further enjoyment to our evening.

Beautiful outdoor restaurant with great view of the beach. The meal started with a complimentary gazpacho that had a really delicate flavor that was light, slightly sweet, and slightly spicy. I ordered the ceviche. It was probably the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the souvlaki. It was tender and perfectly seasoned. The meal ended with a complimentary dessert that was served in a small glass jar. It tasted like a cross between custard and cheesecake and had a layer of fruit gelatin on top. It was fantastic. The whole meal and experience was one of the best we had in Greece. I would go back in...
