At the top of a cliffside overlooking the sea, the Akrotiri Cafe is a perfect break from the usual beach scene. Walked from Agios Georgios to Afionas along a dirt trail and at the top of this cliff was the oasis of Akrotiri Cafe. More high end than the usual spots in the area, from the interior decor to the plates, everything here is well designed and color coordinated. The views overlooking the beaches below are spectacular and sunsets too. Would be worth coming to this spot just for the view alone. The food here is also really well done too. Straightforward Greek food as well as some inventive interpretations too for those that want something a little different. The Greek Salad was really delicious for something so simple, and the Passion Salad was a really tasty and refreshing. Very reasonably priced food for their quality and the beautiful location. Was a hot summer day so fresh squeezed juices with salads are just what was needed. To relax here and enjoy the space and food was a memorable experience worth the trek...

One of the highlights is the shrimp pastaâperfectly al dente and served with a rich, flavorful shrimp-based sauce that brings out the natural sweetness of the seafood. The vegetarian moussaka is another standout, with layers of roasted vegetables and creamy bĂ©chamel that make it just as satisfying as the traditional meat version.

Read moreWe came all the way up there to have a breakfast (mind you itâs not really easy to get there). My boyfriend did not have a t-shirt as we are on holidays and Corfu is a holiday destination island and he has been told that he cannot be served without t-shirt on đ I went and talk to the waiter and he said to me âas you can see I have a t-shirt onâ - mate, you work there!!!
So disappointed in the service. People who work there think they are above everyone else. Sooo rude!!! We have read the reviews and thought we will give it a go because of the beautiful view but itâs not worth it being treated like that. Very limited menu as well. We will go and spend our money somewhere else on the Main Street when we have eaten yesterday and service was very friendly.
I do not recommend it to anyone as you not only pay for food but for service as well. And service here is...
