With Meraki — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

This restaurant was fine with food being of a good standard. The only thing that I feel I need to point out is that the owners 2 daughters are the star of this place. Whilst we were there my family and I felt a little uncomfortable as we had to sit and watch the two girls running around like blue backside flies clearing tables, setting tables, taking food and drink orders, preparing the drinks and serving the food. They were totally overworked but did their very best to keep the place running smoothly. What was really annoying was sitting there watching their father stood behind the bar barking orders at the girls to a point of one of them sticking up for herself before appearing to get upset and seemingly disappearing from the front of house leaving her sister to essentially run the place on her own. Their father, although stood behind the bar refused to even help by preparing the drink orders. All he did was continually shout at the girls and take money off people paying the bill playing the big man accepting all the praise for the restaurant as the girls continued to literally run around trying to keep their heads above the water. To the daughters, I say, you were amazing and a credit to the restaurant and to dad, I say, you need to get a grip, open your eyes and see what you have in your daughters, move from begind the bar anf help them out before they finally decide to...

Tonight we had a fantastic evening at a new restaurant in Sidari. The staff were so welcoming and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We had the mixed dips to start and the pepper dip was creamy and very spicy. I had the USA ribs which came with a lovely BBQ sauce, chips, coleslaw and corn on the cob. Really filling and delicious. My lovely lady had the lasagne which was home made and not stodgy. It was light and the pasta and meat had a lovely Italian herb flavour. Really nice spot, relaxed vibe. Had a starter of stuffed pepper was really good.

Unfortunately even though we both ordered vegetarian moussaka, we were served Briam covered with cheese (no béchamel sauce, chunky vegetables and very little aubergine, there were carrots though?!)

It was absolutely delicious but it isn’t what we ordered and we were not offered an explanation. Seeing as it was really tasty, we weren’t going to complain especially as the service was good. Just a word of warning for other...
