Disappointing First Experience
Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try any of the menu options. We waited a considerable amount of time to be seated and felt as though we were being given a special favor when we were finally assigned a table. It’s possible that the restaurant had reservations due to it being a Friday afternoon, but the lack of acknowledgment while we waited was disheartening.
There was only one waiter attending the two occupied tables outside, and we weren't even greeted. Once seated, we waited even longer for basic items like couvert. We were never asked if we wanted a bottle of water, which landed on our table out of the blue. Despite trying to get the waiter’s attention for about 25 minutes, we were ignored, and it felt as though we were invisible. Other customers who arrived after us were seated and served promptly, which was frustrating.
In the end, we decided to leave without ordering. While I understand that the restaurant may have been busy, the lack of service and attention we experienced was unacceptable. This was our first visit, and I’m not eager to return anytime soon after receiving such...
Read moreFirst of all, we arrive in the restaurant with a mediocre service based from our waiter literally telling us that the price/food ratio is not good and if he didn’t work here he would never eat in this restaurant. What a great first impression. We order 3 meals to share around 15€ each. The size of the meals were so small, however the food wasn’t that bad. Finally, we ask for the bill, and we realize that we didn’t drink the water they put on the table even though it was written on the bill. I get a bit annoyed since by principle i don’t want to pay for the something i didn’t ask for. I pay cash and my friend pays by card. I check the change and see that he still made me pay for the water after arguing for a few long minutes about it. We decide to leave, as i walk out i tell him « thank you for making me pay for the water » and he gave me this bye bye hand gesture with suchhh an attitude without even looking at me. I don’t not recommend this place if you’re looking for a korean in Athens. The whole experience just wasn’t it. Maybe take out would be better but again, it’s really expensive for what...
Read moreMonday surprise dinner to my daughter and first time in this restaurant gem. We decided to order (our waiter was a big helper to our choice) the beef bbq- is a joy to make it by ourselves in our table - came with small bowls of fresh veggies ,sauces and kimchi ,japchae (Korean glass noodle stir fry) in a warm plate and bibimbap (mix veggie with meat ,fry egg) with extra bowl of warm steamed rice and an extra small hot sauce bowl .For drinks we order just to taste the soju (is a low alcohol like a liquer made from rice or sweet potatoes and a bottle of beer ,I would like and prefer to taste a Korean one but Mythos was fine . If you want to taste and try a Korean cuisine this is an authentic place to begin with. Polite friendly and quick service is a big plus and also the quite atmosphere give the space to chat with your pair or with your friends . If you prefer to enjoy the bbq table please make a reservation first . We loved it and we will visited again to taste more options of...
