Marmelada Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Patras

American Vegetarian. It is casual relaxed and affordable. There was a small language barrier between myself and waiter (my bad I’m in Greece I don’t speak Greek 😅) I asked if a snack platter was vegetarian and he said yes I think we can do vegetarian. He came back with an entire vegan platter. Some might find this annoying but again I don’t speak local language and I found the fact they were willing to fresh make spanakopita without cheese, mustard dip and little roasted vegetables and vegetable croquettes that were not on menu and charge me same price was unbelievably kind amazing service and if you are part of the vegan/vegetarian/ or lactose intolerant community you understand how difficult it is especially when traveling to find somewhere that does this type of accommodation for your dietary needs or preferences. It all tasted great and I would have been happy with a little feta but was floored that a little cafe like this would make such an amazing plate for someone who eats non dairy without any fuss. I went to this bar in a specific time of the season, the carnival of Patra. Every place was full and everywhere you could hear carnival songs. So i believe that it wasn't a typical night so i can vote right! However i had a good time and the sraff was very kind...

Το χειρότερο μαγαζί!!! Πήγα τώρα καρναβάλι 2/2/2025 και δικός σας άνθρωπος επί των ποτών μας έδιωξε επειδή απλά καθόμασταν εκτός του χώρου των τραπεζοκαθίσματων του μαγαζιού και μάλιστα σε μένα προσωπικά απευθύνθηκε με ψευδώνυμα αρχιδακο και βλακακο και τόλμησε να με χτυπήσει και να με απειλήσει να πάμε να τα πούμε στην γωνία??!!!!! Τι να πω πραγματικά λυπηρό που έχετε τέτοιον άνθρωπο στο μαγαζί σας (αυτον με την κοτσίδα λέω) και συνιστώ σε όλους σας να μην ξαναπατήσει κανένας σε αυτό το μαγαζί όπου συμπεριφέρονται με τέτοιο τρόπο κι συνιστώ στον επιχειρηματία και στους εργαζόμενους να κάνουν τα πάντα ώστε να αποφύγουν τέτοιες συμπεριφορές!!!! Κανονικά μήνυση θα θέλατε αλλά τι να κάνω που έδωσα...
