ANTIKA — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

If your in Lindos, make sure this place is on your list. Yes, there’s other highly rated bars in Lindos town, however most seem to be tourist traps.

This place ticked all the boxes, good vibe, great service, excellent cocktails, and great soundtrack by the DJ, lots of modern remixes, Ibiza-ish vibes (in a good way!), and special mention to the staff, all extremely helpful and service provided with a smile!

Nice little touch for me was the cocktail glass with melon and grapes, have never seen this done anywhere else before.

Only downside, and the reason we didn’t stay longer, it was extremely hot on the garden area so we moved inside, however unfortunately even with some fans, it was still too warm to stick around longer than a couple of hours.

There were some fans, just not enough covering the area required, if they could sort this out I would have easily stayed here all night.

Antika is mainly a cocktail bar that also serves amazing sushi. I was looking for a lighter meal and spotted this place walking by during the day and decided to go back and give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did. Antika is modern and beautifully decorated. I was greeted by my amazing server, Carla, who was very friendly and attentive. Carla recommended, at my request, my now favourite cocktail, the Pineapple Express (of which I had 3), absolutely amazing. This is on their signature cocktail menu. She even arranged for the barman to share their recipe. I had panko coated prawns for a starter, spicy tuna rolls (recommended by Carla), and California rolls. All amazing. Do yourself a favour and give this place a try, if even just for the cocktails. Oh, they also have a DJ, playing brilliant tunes that aren't blaring. Highly...

Sushi was amazing. Came quickly after ordering and each one from the sharing platter tasted lovely. Was so nice I went twice. However both visits were soured by one particular waitress. The first night I had to ask 4 times for a glass of wine, then when she finally brought it she just dumped the mini bottle infront of me whereas she had opened and poured it for others.

The second time I went the same waitress just didn’t bring the waters we ordered along with our cocktails. I asked again and still no drinks, so I asked another waiter. Then when I got the bill they tried charging me for 4 waters as opposed to 2.

Would still go again and recommend it but that one waitress really ruined the experience for me...
