Εστιατόριο Λίνδος — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

We just checked out of Lindos Restaurant this morning, after a wonderful stay, and already missing everything about this hotel.

Firstly, it's the most beautiful hotel, in the most beautiful setting of the stunning village of Lindos. Every corner of the building and surrounding gardens and terraces are immaculately curated and complementary to the imposing ancient acropolis situated right behind it.

The suites are delightful, with an abundance of character and all the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel.

The breakfast is an experience not to be missed. Set in a beautiful terrace overlooking the bay of Lindos, expect some tasty daily treats and a fantastic selection of local and international delicacies.

What really stands out however is the service. Excellent, efficient, friendly, and with great attention to detail. Due to my line of work, I get to travel a lot and stay in some of the best hotels in the world and Melenos is up there with some of the best I have ever stayed.

The entire staff, from the General Manager and reception team to the housekeeping team and porter, are friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional.

They all made us feel very welcome and helped us organize a fantastic holiday in Lindos.

I can't recommend this place enough and I am very much looking forward to returning...

after the first not good experience we wanted to give the restaurant another chance. This was a mistake. The service on the first floor of the Rooftop is totally unfriendly and not reasonable. We waited an hour for the food and the ingredients were missing on the food. When you tried to talk to the service he just turned around and walked away. The same goes for the person who was supposed to greet or say goodbye to the guests as a receptionist in the rooftop. Being friendly and looking guests in the eye for a moment is important for your guests. In the hour we waited, no one cared about guests waiting or asked for fresh drinks. During the meal next to us the table were cleaned with disinfectant spray which is theoretically good but if you have the spray in the food is not nice. For waiting for the food there was not even a short sorry. The last meal on the last evening at Lidos was a fail! My little daughter even said that she never wants to go there again. Family friendly = 0% The food is fast food quality. I can not recommend this restaurant to anyone. By the way I have traveled around the world and this was the most unfriendly...

We were in a search for a place to dine in and we were invited in this restaurant by the waiter at the door. We asked if any roof tables were available and we headed up. We enquired about a bigger table and we were told that's for 4 only ( yet 5mins later 3 people were sat there). Our little one asked if she could have a glass of water as she was parched. I think it was about 15min by the time we got the water. Our drinks weren't poured and my Prossecco wasnt opened. I had to call the waiter as i struggled with opening the bottle. When he tried to take our food order, we informed him we weren't confortable and we'll finish our drinks quick and we'll be on our way. He started mumbling away that it wasn't ok, that it was a food only table and he seemed very annoyed at us. We were gone 5mins later after we got our drinks. I'm normally a very easy going person. But if i eat out, i want to feel comfortable and welcomed. I'm not gonna pay for someone to throw the drinks at me. We were going to accept the tiny table corner we were offered, but not the lack of mannere. You should really train your staff on how to deal with...
