Giorgos Food & Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

The place looked quite welcoming and picturesque from the outside and we thought we could have a quick drink & our son could grab a bite to eat whilst visiting Lindos town from our hotel. However when we sat down we wished we would have chosen a different place. There were three or four large screen TVs showing the match between Aston Vila and Leicester City !! The bar was filled with English football fans whom I’ve got nothing against being an Arsenal supporter myself but in Lindos in Rhodes ??!?! Come on !!! I felt like being at my local pub back home not in Greece. My wife and I had a pint on the local beer at €6 each and our son had the margarita pizza which wasn’t the best of quality and lacking in taste. Overall if I wanted to go to a typical English pub which this place didn’t certainly look from the outside I would have stayed at home instead of travelling for 4 hours on a plane. I understand that business have got to cater to their customer’s needs but I don’t think they should loose their identity. I can't give a comprehensive review because I only ordered a takeaway coffee. The coffee itself was very good, although very hot. I had to wait almost 15 minutes until I could drink it without burning my tongue.

But I have to give some credit about the interior. It's gorgeous. I would love to drink or eat something there in the restaurant. The place is Greek stylish, but with modern touch. I like it.
