Lindian Meze — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

We really wanted something simple and authentic, we had passed this restaurant last year many times, and decided after reading reviews to give it a try this time around. It’s a very simple and basic aesthetic, when we arrived, which was early around 7.30pm, it was almost completely empty, this was a little off putting, we nearly decided to change our minds. Heads up I’m very glad we didn’t!!! We stuck to our decision and the food was very good, it was hot and fresh and exactly what we wanted, they did seem short staffed, but worked incredibly hard, food was promptly served and it didn’t disappoint. Newly re-opened as Lindian Meze serving traditional home cooked greek food. Juda and her partner Pandolis were warm, welcoming, and so attentive, despite often having to deal with a lunchtime rush! we ended up eating lunch here several days during our weeks holiday. In our opinion, this is simple food, using fresh ingredients and cooked excellently to create delicious meals. For the quality of food and service, in our view, this was one of the best in Lindos. It's a small family run business, without pretentions and with great homey vibes, so if you're not into that, it's probably not for you, but we'll be returning again and again. Lindian Meze was my restaurant of choice after searching without hope for a place to get a good plate of traditionally cooked meat. Funnily enough I thought Lindian Meze was a traditional place, although I hear it’s relatively new on the scene. Regardless the food was well worth the visit. The service and atmosphere here is pretty casual - nice but nothing to write home about. The mixed grill however comes highly recommended. My partner and I shared the mixed grill, which came loaded with chips, meatballs, sausage and various other barbecue style meats. The food was 10/10 and exactly what we fancied.
